Fed Agencies Looking Into App Flap

The Department of Justice and Federal Trade Commission are deciding which government agency will launch a preliminary antitrust inquiry into Apple’s new policy of requiring app developers to use the company’s own programming tools. Critics of the policy, according to the New York Post, say that Apple effectively stifles competition by making it too difficult for content companies to develop for multiple platforms.
